My story

Coach Kyle Cerge-Henderson is the Associate Head Coach, Defensive Coordinator, and Defensive Line Coach at his alma mater, H.B. Plant High School, and the founder of H.U.N.T. Development. As a four-year contributor and starter at Georgia Tech from 2015-2019, he understands firsthand what real development looks like. Although he began training at a young age, he did not receive much position-specific instruction early on. That experience now fuels his passion for giving young linemen the technical coaching, confidence, and foundation he had to build through discipline, hard work, and consistent growth.

Coach Cerge has coached at both the collegiate and high school levels, including stops at the Division II level, at the University of South Florida, and now in a leadership role at Plant High School. His coaching career has been built on detailed teaching, accountability, and a relentless commitment to player development. Along the way, he has been part of championship success and helped contribute to programs that achieved significant growth and record-setting performance.

In addition to coaching, Coach Cerge taught Anatomy and Psychology at Milford Academy in 2021, further sharpening the teaching and leadership skills that shape his approach today. He also maintained substitute teaching positions at various schools in southern New Hampshire while coaching at Franklin Pierce University.

Kyle graduated from Georgia Tech with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in 2019. He then graduated with a Master of Arts degree in Physical Education from the University of South Florida in 2025.

Through H.U.N.T. Development, Coach Cerge is focused on developing young offensive and defensive linemen through elite instruction and the values of Humility, Urgency, Nerve, and Toughness.
